As Executive Director of Denver Community College Foundation, I was responsible for engaging the Foundation Board and college leaders in raising support for programs, special initiatives, and student scholarships. I provided executive leadership, management, and board development for the CCD Foundation. When I assumed the position, assets in the Foundation were $1.5 million. At my retirement on December 2021, they had grown to $2.8 million, seven new endowments were established, the annual fundraising breakfast grew from $5000 in sponsorships to $150,000 in 2021, along with other achievements.

Leah established the development department, implemented Raiser's Edge, secured continued as well as new funding, led strategic planning sessions for the organization's management team, and led board development and training.

Under her leadership, foundation assets state-wide grew from $8.0 million in 2007 to $25 million in 2014. In addition, a state-wide $34.3 M capital campaign for facilities raised over $30M in just 9 months.

While at FRCC, Leah grew Foundation assets from $1.8M to $2.2M, grew endowment from $110K to $550K, led a scholarship campaign that raised $100K in 9 months, and grew the Foundation's scholarship program from $110K to $190K a year.
