For most of my life, I have worked with children in many different capacities such as aftercare, daycare or tutoring. I have also had the privilege of completing an internship at a church in their children’s ministry. Recently, I have been teaching Art and Music for children 3 years old up to 5th grade. I have skills in lesson planning, scaffolding, adjusting lessons to the needs of each age group and classroom management.There I was able to use my skills in administrative work and leadership. I scheduled workers and evaluated what was needed in each classroom and met those needs. I was also able to organize curriculum and get supplies needed for each age group on a weekly basis. I am also very skilled in computers and was able to use that when helping set up the check in system and also to make spreadsheets and flyers. I enjoy learning and I pick up on things after seeing it done once. I am a hard worker and look forward to the next challenge.
