The roots of my career started in sales and service, growing out of a passion to engage with customers, understand their needs, and deliver exceptional service. I learned about the entrepreneurial aspects of business operations and developed the ability to communicate clearly. My journey has instilled in me a deep-seated commitment to excellence in customer service and integrity. As a Product Development Scientist at Artel, I designed and executed experiments to create practical solutions for our customers complying with a world class Quality Management System. Working collaboratively across diverse teams, I crafted tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of clients. Later, as a Teacher and Teaching Strategist at Portland Public Schools, I executed key responsibilities in event coordination, database management, and delivering project-based learning to diverse student groupings at an innovative U.S. middle school. My career at King Middle School equipped me with empathy, adaptability, resilience, problem-solving, data analysis, and relationship building.Currently, as an Assay Design Scientist at IDEXX, I empower veterinarians with innovative diagnostic assays based in IDEXX dry-slide technology.
