Most recently, Leah contributed to Elevance Health’s >70% top and bottom-line growth by leading significant culture and workforce change for 100k employees through a People & Culture Transformation Strategy.Based in China for 2 ½ years of her decade with Whirlpool, she led key aspects of complex acquisitions and reverse integrations, along with substantial global supply chain and culture shifts. This included the first acquisition by any foreign company of a Chinese state-owned enterprise (SOE) with a greater than 50% initial stake, while she also served on the Supervisory Board of Whirlpool China Co Ltd (listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange). Leah’s international experience comprised accountability across 70 countries.With ownership for $3.5B of global spend, Leah led the procurement overhaul for General Cable and co-led the successful sale process and integration planning of the company, after changing the business trajectory.Leah’s leadership roles include routinely partnering with a diverse range of stakeholders including investors, boards, regulators, unions, and customers. She is currently leveraging her diverse experiences and multi-stakeholder value creation approach by doing ad hoc consulting, with McKinsey & Company as the major client; she advises on a range of business growth/turnaround, M&A, and HR topics across companies and industries globally.
