I attended Scoil Pól Kilfinane while on placement in Mary Immaculate College. I thoroughly enjoyed my placement here gaining confidence in the classroom and developing and obtaining new skills. I was heavily involved with the Transition years accompanying them on outings and lending a hand for extra curricular activities. I had an English and Communication class with international students. This was extremely beneficial as I have completed a course in TEFL and I put it to great use. I spent a lot of time with the SEN students and developed a good rapport with this class. I also experienced the tremendous work that goes on behind the scenes while helping out in the office.
