Assisting ward/nursing/hospital staff with duties such as answering phone and queries, updating patient information including admissions and discharges, filing patient documents, ordering blood test requests, and having responsibility of transporting transfusion material.

Working as a box office assistant at a city theatre. - selling tickets for shows over the phone and over the desk through the use of specialist ticket selling software. - Managing money, taking payments and refunds including cashing up working out profits and float. - helping customers with queries and informing them of upcoming events. - managing any complaints in a professional manner.- being friendly and welcoming to all customers. - promoting and advertising events in the form of creative boards and public appearances.

On occasions when the function team were low on staff I would assist as a waitress at functions, such as weddings and corporate events.

During my time at The Cresset I also took the opportunity to steward for shows. This included showing people to their seats and assisting with any queries, whilst welcoming all guests with a greeting and smile on my face. I would then sit at the back of the theater to reduce the use of flash photography and give assistance to those entering and exiting the auditorium, helping anyone with any queries. At the end of every show I would then check each row for left properties and aid in the clearing up of rubbish.

At the beginning of shows, during the interval and at the end I would sell show merchandise (mostly during pantomime season. This included being friendly with the adults and children coming to see the show, managing money and stock and promoting the product.

This role required multitasking as we were often low on staff. The job role included:- Booking in guests to our inn over the phone or in person, taking payments for the room and offering them a table in our dining area for the evening. When the guests arrived it was my duty to be friendly and make them feel welcome, showing them to their room and introducing our services.- My main duty was to tend to the bar, getting customers their drinks while managing money. It was always important to maintain friendly chat with regulars whilst making new customers feel welcome.- During my time on the bar I would also take food orders in the adjacent restaurant, deliver this to the chef and then take them to the guests when ready. - It was also important to maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout shifts, this included cleaning cutlery, glasses and plates, mopping floors, cleaning surfaces and maintaining the bathroom. - I also worked on evening functions behind the bar and delivering food service when the function included meals.
