Currently employed as Associate Director (Education Operations) within the College of Engineering, Design and Physical Sciences at Brunel University London, I have spent my career in higher education, developing my managerial skills and ethos, as well as improving my understanding of the internal and external drivers that impact on our HE institutions. My knowledge and understanding comes from predominantly working in, and managing, front facing, student service roles as well as being a senior member of the College management team.My passion is supporting and developing the quality of the teaching and learning provision, student engagement and satisfaction, and developing professional and academic staff to help us achieve this.Finally, as a firm believer in local community projects and youth development I volunteer as an Leader for our local Beaver Scout colony. This requires me to organise activities for up to 25 children between the ages of 6 and 8 to ensure they have a fun and engaging experience while remaining safe.
