After more than 15 years in leadership roles in the energy sector, I decided to take a career break to focus on my children and pursue my passion for sport and sport science. Throughout my working career, I learned that I had a strong and natural ability in building beneficial relationships and managing a sales process from start to finish. I’ve delivered tangible results carrying an individual target and led teams to achieve overall company goals in both revenue and profit. Some of my key successes both in the workplace and through my passion for sport include: • Maintained the highest level of customer retention rates both as an Account Director, and Head of Client relations• Generated annual upsell revenues of over £3.2m• Competed in the Ironman World Championships in Nice• Qualifying to race for the Great Britain AG Team• Qualifying for a Championship start at London and Chicago Marathons in 2023. During my recent career break, I continued to keep engaged by volunteering as a Board Trustee for Active Oxfordshire, undertaking some freelance work in the Charity sector and doing a part-time degree with the Open University, as well as progressing as an athlete. All of this has given me a deeper breadth of knowledge and experience whilst continuing to build a wider network.I am now enjoying being back at work full time, and feel the career break was a hugely valuable and enriching experience for me.
