I managed a team of Telephone Negotiators, ensuring high productivity levels were maintained and assisted them in progressing their own personal strengths and development areas. I conducted one to ones and coaching sessions, focusing on monitoring their individual KPIs and compliance issues. Complaint calls were escalated to myself. It was vital I listened to the customer and dealt with their issues in an appropriate manner; alleviating any concerns, ensuring that feed back and additional training was given as necessary.I also assisted in the interviewing of potential candidates and got involved within the new training academies.I had regular training and maintained the ability to adapt positively to the many changes within the growing debt collection industry.It was my duty to ensure my team were motivated and I believe that my people skills are one of my strongest assets. I can communicate with people easily and relate to any personal issues, to ensure I can support my staff in the best manner.I monitored performance within my team and where necessary, conducted disciplinaries and investigations following the procedures set by the HR department.I built good relationships with my colleagues in other departments within the company as it is important to understand their roles if needing to approach them for help or advice.I learnt a great deal and gained a wealth of experience whilst in this role and feel that I have the transferable skills to work at a similar level within other organisations and industries.

I communicated to customers via inbound and outbound calls, considering their circumstances and agreeing affordable repayment plans. I had to ensure I listened and responded to the customer appropriately, remaining compliant and updating their records correctly.I had a collections target to achieve each month, so it was vital to be proactive and motivate myself.I also had a Call Quality target and KPIs to aim towards to remain as productive as possible.I applied to be part of the Trainee Team Manager programme; I developed and progressed and was successful in becoming a Team Manager.

My main duties whilst working at Nails Inc were to assist the Manager, keep the administration duties up-to-date, answer phone calls, schedule appointments and conduct treatments on members of the public.I was responsible for calculating and advising my team of their individual targets and motivated the team towards successfully achieving and exceeding the area targets set. I attended regular training, but it was my own responsibility to remain aware of product knowledge and sell the relevant items to the customer. It was vital to be able to communicate clearly and appropriately with the customers so the left the nail bar after a positive experience.

Whilst studying at Tameside College, I was required to work two weeks of work experience. I approached the salon and was offered a part-time job around the duration of my course, after successfully gaining my qualifications I was promoted to full-time Manager.My duties were to carry out treatments to a high standard for the regular and new clients who attended the salon.I was responsible for opening and closing the premises, to carry out daily audits of profit and loss and deposit the takings into the bank. I was also responsible for the procurement and monitoring of the stock.Other duties included recruitment and the training of staff as well as researching into new treatments to try and establish the best services to offer our clients and remain a profitable business. It was vital to have high time keeping standards to assure the day ran smoothly. Again within this role, I was responsible for achieving my own individual targets, whilst still emphasising that teamwork was a priority needed for a successful business.
