Gained knowledge and understanding of our customers and the rail networks, building relationships with internal and external customers and delivering results.Key achievements• I was part of Six Sigma/ Project 95 South NSW DIFOT project, successfully implementing yard congestion controls. The results were saving in reduced overtime for train crews, a large reduction in shunting activities. Large cost savings and DIFOT achievements with improved train delays to our customer due to eliminating congestion.• Project titled (short wagon consist under six sigma) I worked closely with all maintenance coordinators to achieve the outcome. Savings to the organisation by effectively managing the short train consist project achieved savings of over $1m.• I am responsible for preparing customer weekly plan by continually liaise, negotiate and implement changes directly with the customer, crewing and asset deployment.

Smithfield

Responsibilities• Responsible for preparing weekly and monthly production plans for moulding and assembly machines, bulk manufacture through MPR recommendations. The. Management of intercompany suppliers, accounting and procurement and sourcing of raw and component materials. • Management of 3rd party suppliers and packers in both Australia and Indonesia. Importing and exporting of finished goods. Liaise with freight forwarders, local transport and customs agents. Negotiations for Freight rate tender.• Report weekly on KPI’s measuring daily plant efficiencies, labour and tonnage, supplier performance delivery and quality. S&OP process report monthly to maintain forecast accuracy, peaks and troughs, recommendations for slow moving stock.Key achievements• Offshore transfer of our local manufacturing, machines and 12 month forecast plan. I successfully implemented the transfer of our manufacturing site from Australia to Indonesia arranging of containers to ship materials and machines in the timeframe set in align with our stock holdings. A failure would have resulted in no supply of products to the market as our ability to produce was now in Indonesia only. Our stock holdings were limited to a 3 month sales forecast for both finished goods and components.

Experience• Generate 12 month master schedule in line with sales budget and MRP to determine factory labour, capacity, quarterly and Xmas shutdown maintenance requirements for a FMCG, 24/7hr operation. Provide supplier forecasts, cash flow and inventory holding to not exceed targets set.• Prepare monthly schedule with 1 week fixed optimizing run strategy schedule to include R&D and QC new product, trials/reformulation and rework program opportunities. Undertake analysis of S&OP trends and generate recommendations for improvements on a monthly basis. Forecast review and management, inventory control with ABC product analysis.• Procurement and sourcing all raw/packaging material. Compile weekly management report measuring daily plant. My key achievements• I moved from a Production planner to a resource planner by offering to add the procurement role to mine. The decreased our purchasing department by 2 people and made the plant more efficient as we were more accountable for our raw materials. • Machine and product rationalization. I was a driver in this project to have products defined to tanks we eliminated 6 bulk tanks saving on maintenance and parts and space. Our product rationalization I worked closely with R&D dept. to change raw materials in formulas to cheaper products and eliminate close products to reduce costs and complexities.
