In keeping with the intent of the regulations, a key driver of the internal change that I led was an uncompromising focus on patient and staff safety and wellbeing, and delivery of quality care. Vehicle and equipment management and staff training were all reinvigorated under the watchful eye of my talented senior management team, most of whom have also stepped onto new roles during my tenure.Like many organisations, RFDS Vic experienced unprecedented challenges during the pandemic with many operating environment changes persisting post the harsher periods of lock downs and restrictions.
