In collaboration with a team of four other academic managers, I was responsible for:• Student Academic Counselling• Teacher management and development from recruitment stage, to initial induction and training, and ongoing professional development including teacher observations; I was personally responsible for the Academic Preparation Program, its 30 to 40 teachers, and approximately 400 students• Scheduling of classes using internal database and other systems• Program implementation, feedback, and developmentThe challenges of this role were maintaining communications and relationship building with a team of 30 to 40 teachers who were spread across five or six different locations.
