I am a passionate Asset Management Professional recognized as an industry leader both inside and outside of the Region of Peel. I believe in continuous advancement, education and the pursuit of industry excellence. At the Region, I led a team of internal staff and consultants to produce an operational prototype of the Risk Based Optimized Decision Making model for the prioritization of Capital Budget spending and optimization across the Corporation, and to produce a long term reserve sustainability analysis. I have worked with, engaged and inspired all Regional programs and internal services.In the Asset Management Industry, I am the Founding Chair of Asset Management Ontario (AMONT), an appointed member of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities Municipal Asset Management Program Technical Working Group (FCM MAMP TWG), a part of the founding Board of Asset Management Canada (National Community of Practice) and was awarded MFOA’s 2017 Leadership Award.I have authored many articles, developed practical workshops and presented at technical, financial and asset management conferences and association meetings throughout the country. The only way that we can improve asset management application is by sharing the expertise that is being developed by all of the wonderful people in the industry! No matter the challenge you are facing... someone out there has found the solution. We must all share our challenges and successes!
