I lead digital communications for AlignMNH, a Gates Foundation and USAID-funded project aimed at improving maternal and newborn health through knowledge-sharing. AlignMNH enables purposeful and rapid sharing of science, evidence, and programmatic experience for the maternal and newborn health communities. Driven by country priorities, we create space for stakeholders to learn from ground-level implementation, problem solve around challenges, celebrate success, debate strategies, and align around priority issues for mothers and newborns and prevention of stillbirths.Through AlignMNH, I help oversee the digital and online engagement strategy for the International Maternal Newborn Health Conferences (IMNHC) and the upcoming IMNHC 2023 that will be held in Cape Town.

I coached MS in Accounting students in improving their oral and written communication skills by providing feedback on assignments ranging from group presentations to written case studies. This included creating a friendly, encouraging, and positive environment that facilitated learning and emphasized teamwork.

I assisted with the development and implementation of a Residence Life pilot program called the “Second-Year Initiative” targeted at sophomores in a 2,400-resident neighborhood. I was responsible for marketing materials, website updates, social media, and campus departmental partnerships.

I taught 8-15 year-olds independence, responsibility, group living skills, and decision making skills in a team environment. I was also responsible for the majority of marketing and journalistic photography.
