No. of employees c. 100-120My role as People Manager at Convergence Group (Networks) Limited was to provide people management across a rapidly growing, owner managed, services business that is dynamic, fast paced, demanding and constantly changing.Convergence Group acquired Networks First in 2016, and in turn I worked in a number of projects to align the two businesses, which included relocation of the head office from Redditch to Solihull; restructuring of various departments, which included redundancies and exit of 50+ employees; harmonisation of policies and procedures; and integration and implementation of HR systems. My main role was a HR generalist across the growing business, including satellite offices.

My role as HR & Internal Communications Co-ordinator was split across two teams – HR and Marketing. I was responsible for supporting and delivering HR initiatives in a generalist role, whilst implementing effective communications to employees. The two roles provided a good split, whilst remaining focused on employees.

My first role after finishing university, I worked supporting Project Consultants in the delivery of project work, using PRINCE2 guidelines, which included; • Creating; work plans, communication strategies and risk registers for each project. • Report writing – all stages of project lifecycle.• Data collection, data analysis and market research. • Meeting customers, alongside Project Consults to deliver and present findings. • Communicating with suppliers for customers.• Supporting onsite training workshop days.• Supporting customers through the tender process, evaluation and supplier presentations. • Software application training to customers.
