I've always loved helping people. Throughout grade school and when I started Millsaps College in 1984, I wanted to be a doctor. Growing up in Winona, MS with my mom working for the only doctor in town my whole entire life, I knew of no better way to help any one and every one. Chemistry at Millsaps was a wake-up call. I needed to find a new way to help people. Armed with an English major from Millsaps, a Winona farm-girl work ethic, and the desire to grow and establish meaningful relationships, I was delighted to discover advertising sales with Love Communications Company. I was passionate about helping each of my clients grow their businesses. When I became a manager, life got even better because I could help other people find their passion for helping people in business! It was the best job in the world.Thirty+ years later I'm still passionate about helping people grow and become their best selves! After seven life-affirming years growing and nurturing the Executive Education program at my alma mater Millsaps, I've opened an unexpected new professional chapter in my life as Manager of Learning and Development for Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance. I'm back in the business world of sales and still helping people grow. What a blessing!
