Currently work as a Senior Engineer with 10 years of experience for REALTEK Semiconductor Corporation leading a team of engineers building software and system algorithms used in multimedia video image processing.In my current role, I have several responsibilities, some of which include algorithm design, picture quality assurance, and maximizing color performance. Several of the algorithms which I have written involve techniques to manage Deinterlacing, Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation, Noise Reduction and Over-Drive.Currently several algorithms I have designed are pending patent review, one of algorithms has been granted a US Patent filed under US 8976186 B2 (http://www.google.com/patents/US8976186). The main usage of the listed algorithm is to provide an apparatus and method of image processing to determine the blending value of neighboring pixels between any two or more images.Some of the issues I face daily are managing constant technology market changes such as satisfying Multi-Core needs with the goal of still providing the highest quality picture performance.Outside of work I am an avid programmer. In my spare time, I create websites using PHP and MySQL. In addition I also use JQuery/Python/Node.JS to improve my interactive web-page. One of my websites is an online radio request system.
