Leading a team of ten talented individuals in developing, integrating and supporting in-house and third party developed systems principally aimed at the front-to-back office investment process. Our tight integration with Bloomberg AIM is complemented with a state-of-the-art in-house web based Investment Book of Record (IBoR) system allowing USSIM to have an up to the minute account of the scheme's c. £50bn assets under management. The team is composed of developers, project managers / business analysts and project analysts. Through innovative, responsive agile processes and methodologies we have been able to affect a significant amount of I.T. and process change with a small amount of man- (and woman!) power whilst also being mindful of our responsibility to budget prudently and manage costs. USSIM, supported by its senior management does not shy away from building specialist software where no off-the-shelf alternative readily exists.
