I am a native of Fort Smith, Arkansas. In 1991, I headed to SMU in Dallas, TX., where I discovered the world of advertising. Following graduation, I joined Temerlin McClain where I managed media plans for such high-profile clients as Subaru, Quaker State and GTE. My career has taken me to Fayetteville, AR, Chicago, IL and Raleigh, NC where I have overseen all aspects of multi-million dollar accounts in a wide variety of industries, including employment branding while with TMP Worldwide (founder of Monster.com).In 2011 I found myself back in my hometown reconnecting with local leadership and businesses. In 2007, I had the opportunity to open the doors of my own advertising & marketing agency, What If Creative™. This unconventional agency produces exceptional design and targeted marketing strategies that challenge the norm and generate results for our B2B and B2C clients. Active in my community and industry, I am on the Board of Directors of the American Advertising Federation – Fort Smith Chapter, Noble Cause Awards, Evan’ Project, Leadership Fort Smith Alumni Association, as well as member of the lead team for Christmas Honors – a local program that places a wreath on every one of the over 13,500 veteran headstones at the Fort Smith National Cemetery each December. I am also a graduate of Leadership Arkansas Class V (2011) and Leadership Fort Smith, Class of 2012.In August 2010, I assumed the role of Executive Director for the Fort Smith Regional Alliance, which is a bi-state organization focused on economic development for a 50-mile radius of Fort Smith, through her company.
