Led powertrain division to complete the design phase of the 2021 UPRM FSAE competition car. Assisted and mentored division members with the design of cooling, exhaust, drivetrain, and fuel systems. -Developed intake system for Honda 600cc engine resulting in a simulation performance increase of 8% on desired target RPM range and a 10% weight reduction from the previous system.-Led parametrization efforts for system designs to facilitate iterative process of CAD modeling using Siemens NX and simple spreadsheet tools.

Design, building, and testing collaboration of a Formula SAE car for the 2019 Michigan competition. Car successfully completed the competition top 34 out of 108 universities; top 8 in the cost event.-Research, development, and analysis of intake manifold and exhaust header; validated engine performance using 1D engine model simulation tool Ricardo WAVE for Honda CBR600RR engine iterations.-Developed a sequential transmission electronic shifting system.-Intake manifold geometry computational validation for mass flow distribution using Star CCM+; validated with built model.-Development and integration of regulatory safety chain guard for chain failure scenario.

Reworked integrated propulsion system codes for nozzle performance and sizing in Python. The tools allowed multi-disciplinary analysis and optimization development for airbreathing aircraft propulsion systems.-Rewrote exhaust iteration process tool for an average runtime improvement of 99.5%. -Blended Wing Body engine envelope model integration to aircraft.

Operation restructuring for the commercial and military engine manufacturing facility in the Middletown Engine Development Center.-Designed future state assembly layout for entire commercial and military engine manufacturing lines for consolidation due to expected commercial growth and legacy engine monthly output reduction.-Implemented layout map for drop-off of incoming engine module build material to workstations.

Assembled team and structure for development of a low-speed wind tunnel for campus student research and special project utilization. Supervised and mentored design and manufacturing of tunnel.-Designed and built a force balance for measuring model lift/drag with load cells and microcontroller. -Responsible for team design decisions, budget, and sponsorship opportunities.

Responsible for wind tunnel airflow generation, sensors, and auxiliary equipment.-Designed and built wind speed and temperature measuring system with thermal anemometer and microcontroller.-Computed boundary layer thickness for optimum test model placement cross-section.-Designed a fluid visualization system.
