• I focused on building and growing this young non-profit gender equality organization from the ground up. I initiated the organization’s first strategic planning process, and created a 5-year plan. The organization is now a well-respected actor in public and political debate in New Brunswick.• Successfully lobbied to make gender equality a top priority for provincial organization representing Francophones (sanb.ca).• Led provincial civil-society consensus building to advocate for an independent arms-length body to advise the New Brunswick government on women’s issues.• Was invited to contribute expertise as one of two external members sitting on provincial government interdepartmental working group on Gender-Based Diversity Analysis.• Membership has grown by 165% through recruitment campaigns. Operating budget has grown by 240% through securing government grants.- - -• Mon objectif a été d’établir et de faire grandir ce jeune organisme pour l’égalité des genres à partir de la base. J’ai été l’instigatrice de la première planification stratégique de l’organisme et j'ai créé son premier plan quinquennal de concert avec le Conseil d’administration. L’organisme est maintenant un intervenant respecté sur la place publique et auprès des acteurs politiques du Nouveau-Brunswick.• Travaillé avec la Société de l’Acadie du Nouveau-Brunswick afin de faire de l’égalité des genres une priorité de l’organisme.• Mené une concertation provinciale des acteurs de la société civile afin de revendiquer la création d’un organisme para-gouvernemental indépendant pour conseiller le gouvernement provincial sur l’égalité des genres.• Siégé à titre d’experte au sein d'un groupe de travail interministériel sur l’analyse comparative entre les sexes.• Le nombre de membres a augmenté de 165 % grâce à des efforts de recrutement soutenus. Le budget annuel de l’organisme a augmenté de 240 % grâce à l’obtention de subventions gouvernementales.

Supervised volunteers; participated in the recruitment and training process of staff.Highlights:• Contributed to the adoption of Bill C-293, concerning the provision of official development assistance abroad, by spending one year planning, negotiating and meeting with senators and other caucus colleagues one-on-one.
