Laurie White has worked on a variety of projects from restaurants to public work to mixed use developments. Her process involves beginning at what kind of moments the client wants to create, then honing down that vision into a cohesive brand that can be executed from the master plan to the restaurant menu. She bridges planning, architecture and graphics to build environments that work at every scale. She is known for her quick sketches, and quick 3D models, always making sure everyone can fully understand all aspects of the project. Whether she is presenting to the city, or talking though accomplishing your wildest dreams over tea, she encourages confidence in others.Laurie White has 8 years of experience working with developers to dream, design, and build some of the largest mixed-use developments in the Kansas City Area. She has also worked at architecture firms in Boston, New York, Cincinnati, and India. A graduate from the University of Cincinnati, Laurie earned her Master of Architecture in 2012. She is a member of the Living Building Community and always tries to design according to those principles. One of the project’s Laurie worked on while at Andre Kikoski Architect in New York, The Wright Restaurant at the Guggenheim was featured in Architectural Record.
