Designed and implemented a world-wide risk management / risk consulting practice; managing strategic risks for a $.9 billion VHA with 6,000 employees, 5,000 events and 900 facilities (offices, service centers, lodging, retail outlets). Directed insurance and legal professionals in a Property, Casualty and Executive Risk insurance program; responsible for design, underwriting, claims management, risk control, risk financing, surety and self-insurance. Collaborated with executives and staff on matters of Privacy, Network Security, Crisis Management, Conflicts of Interest, Intellectual Property, Brand Management, Governance, and Litigation. Managed a $5 million budget and $6 million reserve.
