I joined the VGI team in December 2009 as a Senior Network Engineer after returning to San Angelo from San Antonio, TX. While in San Antonio, I worked for 3 years as a Senior Engineer for CRV, Inc. Prior to leaving San Angelo, I worked for 9 years as the IT Manager for the San Angelo Standard-Times and 4 years as the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) of the Small Computer Support Center at Goodfellow AFB, TX. My first tour in the Air Force took me to Incirlik AB, Turkey for two years, during the first Gulf War. I have over 25 years of experience in the IT and Telecommunications Industry, covering a wide range of specialties. I am currently an Adtran Certified Professional in inter-networking (ATSP/IN), IP telephony (ATSP/IPT) and unified communications systems (ATSP/UC).My current primary responsibility is overseeing the Network Division of VGI. We provide Internet service to business and residential customers over fiber and wireless delivery platforms. We cover most of west Texas as well as a few multi-state companies utilizing MPLS/BGP wide-area networking equipment and services.
