Direct the FP&A Function and Finance Enterprise Applications for Sammons Enterprises, Inc. (SEI).Primary Financial Planning and Analysis activities:• Annual consolidated budget for SEI - data from Business Units and Holding Company. Review budget submissions and compile feedback for budget discussions between Executive Management/Board of Directors and Business Units.• Business Units' performance - return tracking, value changes, dividend generation, capital investment requirements, key performance metrics, performance vs benchmarks.• Coordinate with external valuation firm the annual valuation of SEI for use by the SEI ESOP. • Evaluate new project/new investment opportunities - including review of due diligence materials and developing economic projections and resulting management presentations.Utilize Prophix EPM system - used for variety of purposes, including financial reporting, financial planning, analysis and modeling. Prophix replaced Planful, which replaced Cognos. SEI Annual Investment Review - internal "Annual Report" summarizing SEI's investments and key performance information. Document used to assist Management with allocation of capital and investment oversight.ESOP Valuation Model for SEI - includes financial amounts, multiples, discount rates, weights, etc. Model used for both historical tracking and projected performance purposes. Model used for deep understanding of the value, quantification of the impact of various inputs into the value and decomposition of changes for analytical purposes.Partnered with Sammons Corporation peer to lead the SEI Risk Management/Insurance Program - including working directly with insurance broker/consultant on multi-line placement, strategies, data analysis and accounting. Led Accounting/Financial Reporting function (20 months) - consolidation of SEI, SEI annual audit and financial statement report, holding company general ledger accounting activity, reporting to SEI audit committee.
