For over 12 years, I was a member of the NSW Legislature, where I contributed to the development and oversight of legislation, policy, and public administration in the state. I chaired the committees of the Ombudsman, the Law Enforcement Conduct Commission, the Crime Commission, and the Electoral Matters, which dealt with various issues of accountability, integrity, and democracy in the public sector. I also served as a temporary speaker and a member of the Legislation Review Committee, the ICAC Committee, and the Public Accounts Committee, where I supported the legislative process and the scrutiny of government operations and finances.Throughout my career, I demonstrated my skills in reputation management, team management, and operations management, as well as my passion for representing the interests and needs of my constituents and the community. I leveraged my previous experience in hospitality, foodservice, and business to bring a diverse and practical perspective to my legislative work. I was always eager to take on new challenges and opportunities that allowed me to apply my expertise and values to make a positive difference in the public sector.
