Design and Commissioning EngineerResponsible for the control of various projects for London Underground Limited (LUL) and several Train Operating Companies. Works closely with client project teams to ensure design requirements are met. Produces documentation, including Conceptual Design Statements and Detailed Design Reports and as-built drawings.Experience dealing with projects involving the design, installation and commissioning to London Underground and Network Rail standards.Key skills:Detailed experience of LUL Tunnel Telephone systems in design and deployment.Proven experience in Project Engineering, design and installation of CCTV (analogue and IP), CCTV analytics (both server and edge), PA/VA, PHPs, Clock and CIS systems for various clients.Thorough knowledge of CCTV, Public Address and Communications systems as well as bespoke knowledge of legacy communications, Long line systems, OPO CCTV (One Person Operated), TT systems (Tunnel Telephone) and emergency traction current discharge systems.Public Address system knowledge: ASL, Baldwin Boxall and Milbank.Passenger Help Point system knowledge: Ascom, Commend and Complus.CCTV system knowledge: Bosch, Panasonic and Verint.Clock system knowledge. Varitext, Time and Frequency and Wharton.Successful management of complex designs, integration and commissioning.Confident in liaising directly with clients including undertaking Factory and Site Acceptance Tests.Competent in fault finding.Organised and reliable, ensuring project specific paperwork and designs are completed to a high standard.Able to manage site teams and logistics, particularly in the rail and LUL environment.
