I have 7 years Vehicle Building experience in the manufacturing and rolling stock rail sector which has required me to work from high spec engineering drawings both as part of a team and on my own initiative. I have also worked various shift patterns as and when required. I have worked on several contracts refurbishing trains which has involved completing projects for customers including Angel and Alstom and I was part of the ASR Scott Rail and Class 321 Renatus project.To perform this role, I needed to be highly competent in the handling and maintenance of various tooling. I have completed numerous competency and Health and Safety courses for these roles. I recently moved to self-employed work. I am also a level 3 qualified Carpenter with 10 years’ experience in new build, bespoke and refurbishment.I am a very hard-working individual who takes pride in my work and a flexible approach to the requirements of the job and company. I have a keen eye for detail as this has been a vital skill whilst working in the manufacturing industry and whilst being self-employed. I take pride in the work that I do and always ensure the job is done to the best of my ability and to the highest standard.
