Director and Founder of Cambridge Academic Performance. We fuse academic skills and therapeutic techniques - this is the core of Occupational Therapy practice. These may include teaching communication skills, stress management strategies, timetabling, and revision skills or it may require a therapeutically focused approach, looking at beliefs around work, perfectionism, self-esteem and confidence. This role enables me to meet with students without the stigma attached to health issues. Providing performance coaching for students, academics and teachers within academia and to professionals within business. Occupational therapy fuses personal development techniques with practical strategies and is a fast acting approach to improving wellbeing and productivity. It is a clinical approach and allows our service to assess and refer into primary care services. We work alongside pastoral care staff in education and HR personnel within business.
