I'm a stop-motion animation specialist with 12 years of experience in the industry, including 3 credits in the recently release feature film, "Wendell and Wild." Currently a Camera and Motion Control Engineer on an upcoming film at LAIKA Studios.At LAIKA, as a Camera and Motion Control Specialist, I leverage my strong understanding of camera blocking, animation, and cinematic language. I collaborate with the DP and Director to interpret storyboards into polished camera moves consistent with the cinematic style and visual continuity of the film.I'm also responsible for the engineering, construction, and maintenance of the motion control equipment used on set. My proficiency in CAD software and rapid prototyping tools, including 3D printers, laser and waterjet cutters, and CNCs, facilitates the efficient execution of my responsibilities. With a proactive approach, I am adept at identifying issues and resolving bottlenecks, delivering solutions from concept to deployment.
