• Manage the Applications Support function and ensure the team works to SLAs• Manage external suppliers who provide 3rd party service co-provision services• Assist the business with rollouts and new customers and suppliers as necessary. Feeding into development tracks and ensuring any new developments are supportable.• Play an active part in take-on of new interfaces/developments that move into the support environment, ensure resource is sufficient and that developments are supportable before take-on.• To be aware of industry direction/standards and contribute to the identification of improvements to the Rico operational environment.• To have a high level of knowledge of the business issues faced by the business across all functions.• To direct, manage, and coach staff, recruiting as vacancies arise.• To develop a value-add working relationship with the business functions based upon mutual respect, which allows IT to provide quality support• Actively participate in TVS global tracks as assigned, ensuring that Rico requirements and priorities are taken into consideration alongside the global approach• To deal with people management issues as they arise.• Participate as a member of the wider Business Applications team in achieving overall objectives.• To manage and be sensitive to cultural differences/issues in the organisation.
