Utilized Human Resources Job data to determine the appropriate level for purchasing authority. • Developed and implemented Homeland security tracking system for vendors that is used to cross check with Federal Government data for any listed persons on the governments watch lists. • Developed and implemented reports to track purchasing and vendor activity. Efforts led to an accurate assessment of purchasing activity.• Implemented batch schedule system for Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and Inventory. Efforts led to increased streamlining on jobs as well as advanced notification of job success.

Implemented PeopleSoft General Ledger system at BlueCross BlueShield of TN. Activities included server administrator and administrative team leader. Effort allowed business users to transition to PC machines and away from hard wired terminals.Developed and Implemented and maintained allocation rules for disbursement and accounting of all operating expense dollars. Allowed business users to switch from data entry to become data analysts. Efforts resulted in accurate accounting to Medicare and the Federal Employee’s Program as well as internal line of business reporting.Developed and implemented a batch schedule for general ledger through collaboration with manager of cost accounting. Allowed for streamlining of business processes using PeopleSoft.Lead upgrades of PeopleSoft General Ledger from versions 2.2 to 5.1 to 7.5. The result allowed for streamlining of batch processes as well as implementing workflow to enforce purchasing policy rules.
