Built The Opera Database from scratch to serve the opera singer community, after learning enough HTML, CSS, MySQL, and PHP to complete the project. The site allows users to search for public domain aria PDFs by voice type, language, time period, and keyword, with an eye on expanding audition repertoire. Currently, it contains over 5,000 pdfs, nearly 35,000 opera listings and a broad spectrum of resources related to the opera world. Each month, the site sees an average of 2,500 visitors from 90 countries.
