Originally employed by Costcutter Supermarket Group (2017 - 2021).Managed Beer, Ale, Cider & SpiritsFollowing the purchase of Costcutter by the Bestway Group, I moved across to manage Confectionery & Biscuits across Bestway Retail.

I was responsible for all buying and trading activity within Hallmark Retail Stores. During my time with Hallmark I challenged old ways of working and delivered outstanding results across all product groups, including: Christmas, Everyday, Gifting and Home. Following the sale of the Retail business unit to a competitor, I looked for a move back to Grocery Retail and joined Costcutter Supermarket Group.

I joined Planet X as the Head of Buying with responsibility for the Buying function and four Buyers. I was part of the Senior Leadership team reporting directly to Managing Director. It soon became apparent that the position and business was not as presented to me, so I decided to move on to a new opportunity.
