Having a keen interest in fostering positive social change, I am an open-minded and curious people-person who strives to make meaningful contributions to the world through innovative and creative work. I have experience in events and hospitality, but also have specialise in graphic design, marketing and communication (with formal qualifications). I am always willing to expand my skillset and learn through further training. Graduating from a creative discipline has strengthened my unique flair for ideas and keen eye for detail, implementing skills in NFP volunteering as well as business-oriented activities. Having a strategic mindset and optimising processes enables me to achieve the best possible outcomes and craft dynamic solutions to challenging problems.Grateful for the New Colombo Plan Mobility Grant, I was funded by the Australian Government and had the privilege to study and undertake work placement abroad in Singapore, 2019. This eye-opening experience fuelled my drive to acquire knowledge and learn, taught me about what it means to be adaptable and flexible with change, and broadened my world view, giving me a richer understanding of culture and different ways in which the places around the world operate. From networking with like-minded people with similar goals and ambitions and embarking on an international journey, it has led me to realise the scalable impact we can make on this planet, and I believe that by working together as a global community, we can bring about positive collective change for our future.Outside of work, I enjoy nourishing home cooking, volunteering, travelling and exploring, playing music (piano, guitar and choir), engaging in various sporting activities (yoga, rock-climbing, running, social netball, volleyball, gymnastics, dancing), catching up with friends, playing strategic board/ card games, and reading, amongst many other hobbies. I am also passionate about true sustainability (not greenwashing), which means consuming intentionally and mindfully across all aspects of life. I am geared towards growth, personally and professionally, and always looking expand my capacity and look at different ways of thinking. Confident that a rewarding journey awaits me, I am eager to share my excitement with a new team of inspiring people. My personal values are:- love- wellness- safety- connection- humour- learning- freedom- creativity- organisation- meaningful impactIf any of this resonates or aligns with you, please reach out and shoot me a message, I'd love to chat :)

I have also served food and beverages at Penrhos College's High Tea events and helped set up for events such as Valedictory dinner. This role has also helped me become a more empathetic person to ensure the high quality of service I would be satisfied with if I were in their position as a patron.I am also willing and open to engaging in manual labour jobs such as moving props set on stage, assisting with rearranging and disassembling the set (bump out).In August 2019, I had the opportunity to be stage manager of Music Gala Night which required me to take a higher level of responsibility and direct queues to performers and comperes to go on stage. In September 2019, I began the role of a Front of House manager which involves opening and closing the venue, responding proactively to any situation and problem solving to ensure people with their own specific needs are met and leave the venue content and satisfied with our service. -

Event StaffIndependent Events Jul 2018 - PresentPerth, AustraliaI have worked several events with Independent Events, one of which was a busy 10-hour shift at GTM in Bunbury. I was behind the bar working alongside pourers, mixers, bar-back staff and fellow bartenders to ensure all patrons were served quickly and accurately. I used Albert, a CommBank EFTPOS Terminal, to process payments and sales accurately into the system, giving correct change.I found it particularly important to ensure that any questionable interactions with customers did not affect my attitude toward the next person and used my problems solving skills and initiative to overcome issues (e.g. running out of stock and having to provide alternatives).I also utilised the strategy of upselling by using language to promote products and increase sales but kept to the guidelines of RSA standards, making sure patrons were not overly intoxicated and offered free water over alcohol where necessary.
