About Lee Bowers
Lee Bowers started her professional career as a Special Effects and Animation Designer and Director in Hollywood in 1976 and continued until 2000. She then re-focused on her own art making through paintings and photography, and shows in galleries from Los Angeles, Telluride, Kansas City, to Santa Fe....and many others. In 2012 she met and formed a relationship with Stephan Sparta, French-born and trained Architect/Interior Designer in France and NYC. They conceived their French International Fine Art Gallery concept and opened Gallerie Sparta on Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood in 2013. The gallery is a temple for fine artists with select artists from around the world as well as emerging L.A. Artists. They also locate privately owned historic artworks for collectors worldwide. She is currently curating art exhibitions in and around Santa Fe, New Mexico, where she lives, and continues to work with International Art Dealers & Collectors through Gallerie Sparta.
