Program ManagerAmazon Mar 2015 - Jan 2017Greater Seattle Area• Developed process improvements to improve UI experience across all stakeholders. I began outlining the areas of opportunity and what improvements would occur in the next UI iterations. Stakeholders would now be able to see the reason behind UI iterations, as previous UI iterations didn’t include a path forward. • Gathered data for weekly metrics to determine if error rates were reducing. When I implemented changes that impacted the operational workflow. I began diving into if associates were causing workflow errors. I used SQL to pull all 30 associate’s workflow on a weekly basis to find discrepancies. My analysis determined that 30% of the associates were unaware of how to utilize new tools and processes. This resulted in a series of re-training. • Trained new hires to ensure each associate is optimized for their role. Data helped determine which associates needed re-training. This led to me creating a 1 week course to go over areas of opportunities and how to utilize new tools. After the 1 week training, I monitored associate performance for 3 weeks. This increased workflow accuracy to 99%. • Created standard operation procedures that improved SLA. Gathered feedback from associates to help find gaps between what the SOP says and from what they interpret from it. This resulted in providing more clarity on the SOP verbiage and revision on any documentation -
Soc AnalystAmazon Jul 2013 - Mar 2015Seattle• Used Lenel to monitor assets and customer safety. The operations center received thousands of alarms on a daily basis. I began an audit that would narrow down where the source of alarms was generating and during what time frames. I used these data points to allocate security guards on locations that helped reduce alarms by 30%. This led to a global investigation of all corporate buildings to reduce alarms. • Communicate effectively with field operations. When an escalation occurred, we coordinated with field operations to arrive on the scene in a timely manner. I ensured that the resolution time met SLAs to avoid further escalations. If emergency services were required, I would ensure the situation was handled with top priority.• Followed SOPs and resolved problems that affect productivity• Worked across many teams for highly complex issues to provide the best resolution. I began weekly audits to ensure that the contact information was up to date for corporate sites that were located internationally. This increased response time by 20%, as the operation center was 24/7 and different contact information varied based on time of day. • Wrote detailed reports to provide high-level insight to stakeholders. When an incident would occur, I would gather precise response times and the responder’s name.
