Carrying on from my previous position as Senior Linux Engineer, my responsibilities remain largely the same with the addition of being a point of escalation, upskilling of engineers, improving documentation, creating new and improving existing processes and collaborating more in project work with other departments.

I worked as part as the advanced support team whose core role was providing support helping diagnose and resolve customers server, website and email issues. In addition to this the team was also responsible for monitoring and resolving alerts on both company and client servers as well being part of the on call team.

Working as part of the Front line support team, my core responsibilities were providing Phone, Email and Live chat support for clients, assisting in diagnosing and resolving website issues as well as providing support in configuring client side software. In addition to this I also worked on both internal and external process guides and documentation.

Working as the weekend face of the Front line support team my core responsibilities were providing phone, email and live chat support to our customers, assisting in diagnosing and resolving website and email issues as well as providing support in configuring client side software. In addition to this I was responsible for escalating cases to advanced support engineers and server side issues to the on call staff.

Working for United Utilities on a long term temporary staff through Rullion Contract Services. As part of the Recharge Team my core responsibilities included processing invoices, raising notifications for street works, handling queries from County Councils, training staff in processes as well as becoming certificated with new TMA legislations.
