The key responsibilities of this role involved international end to end project life-cycle management working with and managing blue chip customers within a Prince 2 environment, implementing web based application software to integrate, enhance and change business practices. This includes being technically responsible and financially accountable for the success of the project, involving the management and scheduling of customer and internal development team resource, working as a consultant on site and all contributing factors. This opportunity has helped to further develop my business acumen and appreciate the pressures and opportunities felt within manufacturing industry.Duties & Responsibilities:• Responsible for scope definition and sign-off, compilation & adherence to timing plan, agreement and tracking of financials (P&L), procurement of hardware and 3rd party contractor & customer resource management. Full Project life-cycle management.• Responsible for customer communication and various levels and managing customer expectations. • Facilitate and steer regular project meetings at different levels, to update progress, delegate and motivate team members whilst document agreements and contracts.• Responsible for scheduling engineer hardware installation and network install/config.• Responsible for conducting awareness presentations, facilitate software configuration, user training and Improvement workshops.• Ongoing Project Control using Highlight reports, proactively manage Risk and Issues registers, Change management, Quality control and detailed project plans.• Understand and enhance customer working procedures to ensure ongoing success.• Involvement in sales process from reference visits, technical support and ongoing additional service generation.• Management of internal & 3rd Party Global developments teams. • Integration of software into ERP and other Corporate systems.
