A recent Computer Games and Digital Media graduate with a 2:1 honours degree, looking to secure a QA Testing position within the games industry. My goal is to secure a position that enables me to apply my skills learnt through study to a relevant sector and gain further knowledge and experience. I am a hardworking individual who works well individually as well as in a team, and have taken on leadership roles and responsibilities when called upon. With a willingness to achieve results, learn and improve my skillset, I am comfortable to approach my colleagues and benefit from their wealth of knowledge. I am punctual and flexible with my approach to work, and have demonstrated this by providing assistance and pushing the boundaries of my responsibilities where possible to ensure my team achieve their targets.I graduated from University of Wolverhampton with a 2:1 Bachelor of Design (Hons) degree in 2016. During my final year I completed an assignment to research and write a game design document, then follow this to create a working level. I used 3DS Max software to create and texture models which I later imported into Unreal Engine 4 to build a level layout. Mechanics were then added such as player interactions and artificial intelligence to make the game playable.I have had a passion for video games for most of my life. They enable me the freedom of exploring new worlds, and the ability to communicate globally with a diverse group of people. My current goal is to secure an opportunity with a gaming company where I can bring my passion, enthusiasm and knowledge to contribute to the company and gain further valuable experience.
