Each academic year, I am teaching up to 4 sections of the 1-credit hour First-Year Thriving course focusing on thriving at a liberal arts institution. Oversee and manage logistics for several campus events and advisement of student groups.- Direct and advise officially recognized student organizations, including working with students, departments within the Carolina Union and across the University;- Advise and counsel student organizations regarding information and records administration through Heel Life an interactive database management system;- Advise and counsel student organizations on efforts related to private gift and fundraising;- Direct and lead seminars and other training efforts involving co-curricular programs that augment and extend classroom learning;- Advise faculty and staff who work with co-curricular organizations;- Serve as an advisor for a department in Student Government;- Coordinate with other Carolina Union staff to create sustainable & equitable Learning and Leadership initiatives;- Identify grant opportunities and funding sources for department initiatives and apply for relevant grants at the local, state, and/or national level;- Participate on Student Affairs, University, and/or community committees, coalitions, task forces, and/or search committees
