Through a partnership with MTP, we provide LV cable and IT needs for Tractor Supply Company, Lowes, PetSense and Dollar Tree stores. From overnight IT upgrades and remodels, to new store buildouts, we handle all the needs for the project teams at Mercury Technical Partners. We install WAP's, Security Cameras, Retail Systems from Touchscreen computers to POS systems. We also install the network and Telco builds for these stores.

While continuing in my role; TC Energy (TransCanada) has brought me onboard as salaried employee. I maintain and troubleshoot the physical network components for TC Energy network assets across Canada, US and Mexico. I install, configure and maintain Cisco appliances, 2-way communications, and redundant systems as well as provide site lead for projects on upcoming infrastructure upgrades and new facilities. I maintain all level 1 thru 3 network components from fiber, copper, VHF, UHF, and VSat. I travel to provide direct onsite support for these systems, and work directing vendors as well as provide SME on upcoming infrastructure projects related to site specific needs on large scale projects. I research and compile reports for issues and circuit cost using Service Now and Solar Winds DB’s to find alternatives or new technologies that can decrease our operating cost.

I worked as a contractor for TransCanada maintaining and troubleshooting the communications grid in Mississippi. I install, configure, and maintain all Cisco appliances, as well as provide onsite lead for projects on upcoming infrastructure upgrades and new facilities. I maintain all level 1-3 networking from fiber, copper, VHF, UHF, and VSat. I travel through Mississippi to provide direct onsite support for these systems. I monitor our Service Now Tickets and assign them to techs dependent on location and expertise. I monitor our systems within Solar Winds and look for patterns to determine issues with sites.

As a Level 3 Support Technician, I had the responsibility for the local coordination, installation, and ongoing support of various mission critical and administrative computer systems throughout a 2 million sq. ft. facility. I provided lead resources for ongoing and future IT projects within Toyota. I used Toyota's form of ITIL within Service Now to manage, update, and oversee IT projects plant wide. I oversaw the on-site Data Center containing the servers; NAS and SAN environments; VOIP environment, LAN and WAN switches, routers, firewall's, and load balancers through Solar Winds, all of which have the potential to impact product and require immediate response / resolution

I provided on-site support for the State of Louisiana’s Information Data Centers, Disaster Recovery sites, and supporting networking equipment. I traveled statewide when an issue had arisen that could not be handled through remote access, or equipment failure has resulted in loss of connectivity to the States Network. Most of the work was break/fix with; Dell, EMC, HP, IBM, Cisco, Data Domain, and Polycom as a few of the vendors I dealt with to facilitate replacing failed equipment or obtaining the parts needed to repair a system. I rebuilt Storage Arrays, Servers, Tape Backup, as well as maintained 4 Polycom Virtual Presence Rooms for the Emergency Management teams, and other related equipment. As part of my job I was also tasked with being sent to other states to troubleshoot issues with Data Centers and DR sites for various clients.

I provided level 2 support, as well as oversaw the field technicians in a 5000 pc XP/32 to 7/64 migration project at Huntington Ingalls Industries shipyard in Pascagoula, MS, as well as teams in Huntington, CA. and Avondale, LA. and AMSEC locations.. Using Bomgar and other remote tools; I troubleshot and researched application issues in both CITRIX and stand-alone environments, as well as remapped network resources and databases. I helped train EU’s on Win 7 to improve their productivity. I logged running issues for analysis to help improve the image being applied on systems and compiled daily reports on technician’s progress in an effort to streamline the process and lessen the impact on EU’s. I also provided backup and support to the person responsible for maintain and updating the Active Directory with the new naming scheme.
