Lee Shaw, principal designer at Lee Shaw Architecture, has over 30 years of experience creating beautiful, private residences, restaurants and spa's for people to enjoy and thrive in. Lee graduated from Texas A&M University in 1986 and worked for internationally acclaimed interior designer Juan Pablo Molyneux in New York. He was lead designer and project manager on the design of high-end residential projects around the world including a villa in Palm Beach, a palace in Buenos Aires and a townhouse in New York City.From there he worked as an assistant project manager on the lobby renovation of the Century Paramount Hotel in Times Square, designed by Philippe Starck, and then moved to Connecticut and worked on Historic Landmark projects for Halper Owens Architects, including North Salem, New York's Delancy Hall on the National Register of Historic Places and the restoration and adaptive re-use of Sprain Brook Sawmill, a working historic sawmill on the Connecticut Register. He moved to New Mexico where he was a designer and project manager for Studio Arquitectura in Santa Fe and worked on projects including a restaurant for celebrity chef Mark Miller in San Francisco, Carol Burnett's home in Santa Fe and the renovation of Packard's On The Plaza, which won a Preservation Award from the City of Santa Fe.Lee and Rick Ansaldi formed Ansaldi Shaw Design in 1998. Together they have designed historically inspired contemporary haciendas and commercial projects including Rio Nuevo Transit Center and Anjali Day Spa + Wellness Center in Tucson and modern restaurant concepts for Flying Star Cafe and Satellite Coffee in Albuquerque.Lee also works as a consultant for Plan A Architecture in Santa Fe working on a variety of projects including residential, commercial and restaurant design and has worked as a consultant at Kelly Architects in Los Angeles.Please visit www.leeshawarchitecture.com for more information
