A member of The Career Insight Group, TwoPointZero provides support and guidance to young adults and early-mid career professionals as they identify meaningful pathways. Overseeing all operational functions of TwoPointZero’s career coaching services nationally, my role is varied and includes strategic planning and development of new programs, managing partnerships with organisations and education providers to create individualised service offerings, tender submissions, identification and implementation of new coaching tools, management and support of the coaching team, delivering coaching, and facilitation of workshops. I also contribute expertise to various projects across The Career Insight Group (TCIG), which has included working with Audrey Page & Associates and Directioneering project teams. TwoPointZero is proud to contribute to coaching and support of Australian athletes as part of the Australian Institute of Sports (AIS) Career Practitioner Referral Network. As the Manager of Coaching, I joined the business at start-up and launched TwoPointZero in 2016. As part of this role I created six successful career programs aligned to TwoPointZero’s coaching framework, formed policies and operational processes, recruited and inducted the coaching team, implemented an online client management system and coaching portal, identified and monitored program milestones and quality benchmarks, liaised with partner organisations, created coaching resources, coached clients one-to-one and facilitated group career workshops.

Specialising in the delivery of the Insight career program, a program specifically for young people on the autism spectrum. This is an individualised, one-on-one approach to career development that is mindful of the needs of young people on the autism spectrum and addresses major barriers to workforce entry through a thorough analysis of various areas including skills, interests, learning style, sensory sensitivities, personality factors, and training/employment capability. This program helps individuals identify their strengths, understand their challenges and as well as tailored strategies to manage and minimise the hurdles they may face as they transition to the workforce. The aim is to help young people on the autism spectrum to find their place in the world of work, where their strengths and abilities can be celebrated. The program was developed in conjunction with a Psychiatrist. In addition to the Insight program, I also provide coaching in cover letter and resume development, interview preparation, job search skills and strategy and selection criteria. This program provided participants with a comprehensive understanding of the Australian job market, workplace expectations and the employability skills they require to obtain relevant and sustainable employment in Australia. Throughout the program I was responsible for assessing participants competencies and ensuring they had the skills needed to move seamlessly into their careers.

Fingerprint Me was committed to solving youth unemployment through programs that gave young Australians the chance to become more employable and entrepreneurial.My role was in program development and the delivery of career programs to individuals. I assisted in the development of the core career program ‘Scope’, which was designed to support a young person to transition from not knowing what to do, through to identifying a clear career pathway. In addition to this program, I was also actively involved in consultations to identify further programs and products that would be beneficial to the client group of 15-30 year olds and in the development of workshops for delivery within both private and government schools.

As the National Training Manager for this provider of Government Employment Services, I managed the team responsible for the delivery of operational and contractual training nationally for 500+ Employment Services staff. This involved the development of an induction program, staff conferences, and an education program for existing staff. The emphasis of my role was on increasing compliance inline with the government contract and ensuring all contractual requirements were adhered to. In extension to this, my team was also responsible for ensuring staff were able to deliver case management services in alignment with the organisation's service delivery model. This saw me developing training that assisted staff in their ability to effectively work with job seekers and provide them with skills in cover letter and resume writing, mock interviewing, effective customer service and case management abilities.

Accountable for the overall management and delivery of the Job Services Australia contract at a Mission Australia site, ensuring effective case management, job search support, recruitment services and training was provided to 600+ diverse clients register with the site. My role consisted of day-to-day management of the business, finance generation in alignment with P&L, achievement of individual and team KPIs, recruitment, staff development,contract compliance and the development of relationships with service providers and employers.In addition to my operational role, I also provided coaching and support to redundant workers, professionals and those facing the most adversity in their job search, ensuring they had clear strategies in place to enable them to transition into employment or the alternative services they required.

As the Business Manager, I oversaw the day-to-day operational delivery of the government’s Job Services Australia contract for Reed in Partnership and supported staff to transition job seekers into sustainable employment or education, in adherence with contractual requirements. This site had 1000 registered job seekers. I was responsible for managing a team of 10, consisting of Employment Consultants, Trainers, Recruiters and Administrators and was accountable for the sites budget and income generation, performance, recruitment and development, achievement of KPIs, business development and compliance. I was also responsible for the identification and implementation of strategies that would assist job seekers to develop needed skills and secure sustainable employment, which saw me engaging with alternative service providers, training organisations and large recruitment firms.

This position supported the Business Manager in day-to-day operations of the site and managed a team of Employment Advisors and Facilitators as they worked to assist job seekers to find meaningful employment. I coached staff in conducting effective career conversations with clients, goal setting, developing client job search plans and engaging with additional services that could support the client to achieve their goals.In addition, I also managed a client caseload, undertaking career and job search activities required to transition job seekers into the workforce.

Working in London, I provided support to job seekers via the UK's welfare-to-work system. This involved case management, assisting job seekers to seek employment and supporting them with career and educational decisions, resume writing, job searching, interview preparation and the organisation of practical items needed for getting a job, including the arrangement of interview clothing and travel.I was seconded to Australia for 6 weeks to work as part of the Business Development Team responsible for researching and writing the 2009-2012 JSA Tender. As a result of this work, contracts worth up to $33AUD million were awarded to the business.
