As the CEO of NexGen, the team and I are modernizing mining to drive the future of clean energy. From discovery to remediation, we’re investing in industry-leading standards to empower local and Indigenous communities, protect the environment, partner with governments, and uphold all security, labor, and safety regulations.Throughout my 20+ year career in the resources and corporate sector, I have seen how the world has embraced clean energy and understand that as the most reliable form of clean power generation, nuclear is the lynchpin of the energy transition. That’s why I’m proud to lead the NexGen team to become a top producer of uranium to secure the energy transition for allied nations.Before founding NexGen in 2011, I advised clients on investment and financing in the mining and resources industry, including origination to the successful execution of mergers and acquisitions, raising capital, investor relations, and exchange listings.Throughout my career, I have focused on project identification and investments for private and public funding with a successful track record in Australia, Canada, the USA, Europe, and Asia.Outside of NexGen Energy, I am the Co-Founder and Chairman of NxGold, (TSXV: NXN), the Chairman of IsoEnergy (TSXV: ISO), and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia.
