Deliver training to Gas & Gear staff and Account Managers on industrial gas andwelding products/applicationsDeliver training material prepared by Strategic Marketing in conjunction withSales Leadership on:- Shielding Gases- Welding equipment- Process (MIG, TIG, MMA)- Oxy0Fuel (Gas + Equipment)- Plasma- Gas SafetyBusiness development – Provide Technical support to Account Managers winningnew businessProspecting – Provide Technical support to Account Managers to grow existingaccountsCustomer Support – provide customer training if specified as part of ContractnegotiationProvide technical support to run welding equipment demonstrations at TradeShows

Manage distributor relationships and improve sales results and performances to align with financial goals.Train and develop existing distributors and manufacturing facilities across the broad range of Lincoln equipment.Spend sufficient time in the field to attract new business and facilitate the retention and expansion of existing business.On-going technical support.

Effectively manage weld fabrication processes within the Caterpillar Australia Manufacturing Department.Project manage New Product Introduction (NPI) assignments to achieve product on time and at quality standards.Create and effectively implement and maintain weld procedures for all fabrications to Australian Standards.Utalising 6 Sigma methodologies, Initiate and manage continuous improvement projects in order to promote efficiency and productivity.Relieving supervisor as required.Implement welding operator qualification and training to Australian Standards.Document weld repair and rework procedures.Support quality control of welding through maintaining procedures and continuous improvement.Perform complex workflow analysis and implement required tooling, fixturing and equipment.Integrate necessary safety measures and document procedures into daily activity.Develop and maintain weld time standards for all products using the corporate system to establish a baseline.
