After graduating high school my family moved to Arizona. I pursued a career in printing and learning more of the graphics trade. I continued the same trade when I moved back to the Cape and worked for Crane publishing and printing company for several years. I was hired by the Cape Cod times. For 9 years I worked as a journeyman pressman. I also volunteered to be shop steward for many years at the Cape Cod times and The Town of Barnstable High school for eight years.
