My national patent litigation practice is rooted in my ability to convey complex technologies to courts and juries in support of bet-the-company lawsuits.At my core, I'm a trial and patent attorney who centers my practice on leading litigation teams in complex patent disputes both in Federal Courts and the International Trade Commission. Leveraging close to 25 years of patent practice experience both in and out of the court room, I represent technology and life science companies in the areas of next-generation sequencing, LED technologies, aesthetic treatment devices, wireless and networking devices and standards, electrical circuit design and related devices, and electrochromic windows, as well as many others. I have a strong record of taking numerous patent infringement cases through to jury verdict and appeal.Capitalizing on my engineering background, I also enjoy working closely with my clients’ engineers and scientists to formulate offensive and defensive positions for their cases. As first chair or lead counsel, I regularly argue all aspects of the case to the court. Leading up to and during trail I conduct in-depth direct and cross-examinations of fact and expert witnesses, where my deep technical knowledge is once again an advantage.
