Having always worked in some form of Direct Marketing role, I found myself desperate for a new challenge in 2020. The UK was in lockdown (Let's not mention the C🦠 word) and I was bored on furlough. A chance connection and I was sat on a Zoom with my old boss chatting through an opportunity he had for me. Enter - The Anonymous Landlord. Within a week, I was set up and ready to go; little did I know how it would change my career. In previous roles I'd made calls, I'd planned and executed telemarketing campaigns, I'd sold advertising space. Now I was creating the ACTUAL marketing. Since May 2020 I have developed my CV so incredibly, that I'm confident that the sky is the limit. I've launched Tom Soane as a minor property celebrity through his video content and podcast (which I produce... not that I'm showing off), I create illustrations and graphics, not to mention marketing collateral and email nurture campaigns. All whilst juggling his many social media accounts and making sure he gets to his appointments on time.I've even become a bit of a dab hand at heading up SME merger and acquisitions.I'm not here to sell anything (I do that through Tom's profile), but I am looking to meet and network with individuals at any stage of their marketing journey, to share knowledge and develop lasting relationships as we battle the ever changing world of content marketing.
