I formerly served as Vice President of Community Affairs for Howard Group, a portfolio real estate development company specializing in premier commercial developments and upscale resort residential properties. I enhance, manage and maintain a positive communication platform for Howard Group with local, state and federal government agencies, non-profit organizations and private companies for responsible growth and development, covering the communities in which Howard Group has vested interest. I previously served as a Sales Assistant for Alys Beach, an upscale real estate development in Northwest Florida providing full assistance to the VP of Sales and our Sales Associates. I previously worked as an independent contractor assisting nonprofit organizations with management and operations activities as well as fundraising. I also worked with Alys Beach as Manager of Guest Services and Vacation Rentals in a past position. I served as Executive Director for the Scenic Corridor Association and Foundation, two non-profit organizations dedicated to preserving and protecting the scenic nature of the roadways of South Walton County in Florida. Prior to these positions, I had 13 years of experience with SunTrust Bank in various positions including development and delivery of training programs and courses, managing commercial banking relationships, new business development of commercial banking clients, managing teams ranging in size from 3 to 50 people in positions ranging from administrative assistants to training program managers to operations managers, and managing all human resources and facilities functions for a division of 150 people including overseeing and directly participating in all areas of human resources.
